Sustainable Business and Management Practices: A Multidisciplinary Perspective

Abstract : Sustainable business and management practices have emerged as a critical priority for organizations striving to balance economic growth with environmental stewardship and social responsibility. This study presents a multidisciplinary perspective by integrating concepts from management, economics, environmental science, and organizational behavior to understand how sustainability can be embedded into core business strategies. The research explores key dimensions of sustainable practices, including resource efficiency, ethical governance, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and sustainable supply chain management. It also examines how organizations can leverage innovation and digital transformation to reduce environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency. The study highlights the importance of aligning business objectives with global sustainability frameworks such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Using a conceptual research approach supported by literature review and case-based insights, the study analyses how organizations across different sectors are adopting sustainability-driven strategies.
