Anti Ragging
The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi vide its Notification no. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated 25-03-2009 has taken a very serious view of ragging incidences in educational institutions and on Directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide its Order dated 16.5.2007 has ordered strict implementation of the rules & regulations for Prevention and prohibition of Ragging in Institutions. Keeping this in view IIMS has constituted the Anti-Ragging Committee to discuss and deliberate issues related to Ragging.

Grievance
The Grievance committee was set up with an objective to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit. The cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the officer in-charge Students’ Grievance Cell. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/ suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at Administrative Block. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the officer in-charge of Students’ Grievance Cell.

Women Committee
IIMS has constituted a Women Committee (WC) to discuss and deliberate upon issues related to dignity, safety, prevention of sexual harassment of women at work place and overall development of female employees. It is a broad based body headed by chairman of the institute and a female Faculty of the Group and has more than fifty percent female members.
Student Council
A Student Council is a representative structure for students only, through which they can become involved in the affairs of the Institute, working in partnership with Institute management, staff and parents for the benefit of the Institute and its students.
